Staff at Rhondda Cynon Taf CBC's centre for the over-50s – Teify House – will put on a week of special events to try and get more people to use the facility.

Among treats on offer at the centre will be hearty home-cooked meals, yoga and community arts plays, performed by users, similar to one pictured, right. Rhondda's mayor, Emlyn Jenkins will launch the week's proceedings on Monday by unveiling a wall-hanging created by users of the centre.
