Oxfordshire blames cash shortage in row over care places

A row over bed-blocking has erupted after health chiefs claimed Oxfordshire CC had not spent enough on care places.

NHS Oxfordshire, the region's primary care trust (PCT), released figures showing that on average, 119 people were well enough to leave hospital but were delayed because social care provision was unable to handle the demand.
