Oxfordshire leader announces he is standing down

Oxfordshire CC leader, Cllr Keith Mitchell, has announced he will stand down in May 2012, after 10 years in the role.

Oxfordshire CC leader, Cllr Keith Mitchell, has announced he will stand down in May 2012, after 10 years in the role.

Cllr Mitchell said he will carry on as leader until the county council's annual general meeting on May 2012, when a successor will be officially elected.
