Palin appointed next St Helens chief

St Helens MBC has appointed Mike Palin as chief executive, making the 35-year old one of the youngest top officers in the North West.

St Helens MBC has appointed Mike Palin as chief executive, making the 35-year old one of the youngest top officers in the North West.

Mr Palin, aged 35, will replace Carole Hudson who will step down in March after serving for more than 20 years as chief executive.
