Parsons' wife faces probe

The wife of Cllr David Parsons, has become embroiled in separate police and council standards investigations.

The wife of Leicestershire CC's ousted leader, Cllr David Parsons, has become embroiled in separate police and council standards investigations.

Cllr Elizabeth Parsons, who sits alongside Mr Parsons as a member of Blaby DC, faces inquiries into ‘irregularities relating to declarations of pecuniary interest', following a district council meeting on 25 September.
