Partnership chief to leave post early

The chief executive of Liverpool City Council’s controversial partnership with BT – Liverpool Direct (LDL) – is to leave his post early with a £400,000 pay off.

The chief executive of Liverpool City Council's controversial partnership with BT – Liverpool Direct (LDL) – is to leave his post early with a £400,000 pay off.

David McElhinney had been expected to remain in post until the winding up of Liverpool Direct, which had been forecast for September 2015.
