Partnership for Schools axed by Gove

Education quango Partnerships for Schools (PfS) has been closed down and replaced with the Education Funding Agency.

Education quango Partnerships for Schools (PfS) has been closed down and replaced with the Education Funding Agency (EFA), the Department for Education (DfE) has stated.

The new chief executive of the EFA has also been announced as Peter Lauener, who is currently in the same role at the Young People's Learning Agency, also due to be wound down and absorbed into the new body.
