Councils and the NHS must integrate more services and spend more on prevention, according to a leading group of MPs.

A report by the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Local Government into the future of adult social care, supported by the Local Government Information Unit (LGiU) and published on 16 July, makes four key recommendations about what could be done between now and 2015 to improve the current care system and tackle the funding crisis.
