Adult social services directors have urged ministers to use the current pause in reviewing the Health and Social Care Bill to absorb findings of the Dilnot Commission into sustainable funding of care and support, which reports in July.

ADASS president, Peter Hay, warned the failure to find a national solution to funding long-term care would compromise attempts to integrate care into the Bill.
