Staff at Cambridgeshire CC are facing a 2 to 3% pay cut across the board – including the chief executive – as part of the council's plans to protect frontline services.

Council chief Mark Lloyd has not had a pay rise since he joined the local authority in 2008 and reduced his salary by almost £10,000 in 2011 in light of pressure over chief executive pay.
