PCCs will fight corner to protect police funding

Police and Crime Commissioners to choose which membership body will protect their funding share after November elections.

Newly-elected Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs) will face an imminent choice as to which membership body will protect their funding share after this November's inaugural elections.

This week the Local Government Association (LGA) issued its own prospectus for a membership body representing the 41 police areas, under the banner of a new Police and Crime Commissioners Association (PaCCA).
