Peers have urged Cabinet ministers to produce a cross-Whitehall bid for funding for vulnerable children and their families in the next Spending Review.

In a letter to communities secretary Robert Jenrick, education secretary Gavin Williamson, health secretary Sajid Javid and Treasury chief secretary Steve Barclay the House of Lords public services committee calls for a trial joint funding bid with a focus on a national roll-out of ‘family hubs.'
