More people think welfare system is too generous says ONS

The number of people who think the welfare system is too generous is on the rise, according to a report by the Office for National Statistics.

The number of people who think the welfare system is too generous is on the rise, according to a new report by the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

According to a Social Trends report published yesterday, the number of adults who think the system is too generous rose from 38% in 1999 to 53% in 2009.
