Pressure is growing on the Government to conclude its review of homes built under controversial permitted development rights and scrap the rules.

Local government minister Luke Hall previously said the review was ‘likely to conclude' by the end of last year amid deep concern about the rights, which allow property developers wanting to transform offices, shops, retail warehousing and banks into homes to sidestep the planning approval process.
