Pickles' £250m bin fund launched

Communities secretary Eric Pickle's £250m fund to entice councils back to weekly bin collections opened today (3 February).

Communities secretary Eric Pickle's £250m fund to entice councils back to weekly bin collections opened today (3 February).

The Government's 'weekly collection support scheme' is available for those authorities that wish to retain or reinstate weekly residual waste and recycling services.
