Pickles urged to end zero carbon delays

Senior shadow cabinet members call on communities secretary Eric Pickles to end the Government's delay on carbon' standards.

Senior shadow cabinet members have called on communities secretary Eric Pickles to end the Government's 'dithering and delay' over making all new homes meet 'zero carbon' standards by 2016.

Shadow chancellor Ed Balls, shadow energy and climate change secretary Caroline Flint and shadow housing minister Jack Dromey signed an open letter to Mr Pickles, seen by The MJ, calling on him to act now over the new building regulations.
