PIP: Make infrastructure schemes attractive to pension funds

The chief executive of a vehicle to encourage local government pension funds to invest in UK infrastructure has called on Whitehall to help.

The chief executive of a vehicle to encourage local government pension funds to invest in UK infrastructure has called on Whitehall to help.

Mike Weston, chief executive of the Pensions Infrastructure Platform (PIP), urged the Government to structure infrastructure projects in ways that made it attractive for funds to inject capital, as has been done with the Thames Tideway Tunnel.
