Amendments to create independent control and regulation of senior officer pay have been put forward by Plaid Cymru as part of the Welsh Local Democracy Bill.

Assembly member, Glyn Thomas, described top-tier pay as 'out of control' and the Welsh Government needed to 'reach out and accept' the proposals at the third stage of the bill to reform the Boundary Commission.
