Milton Keynes Council will be handed full planning control of its borough for the first time since the town was created in 1967.

Milton Keynes Council will be handed full planning control of its borough for the first time since the town was created in 1967.

Housing minister Mark Prisk revealed this week that planning functions currently undertaken by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) would be transferred to the authority, together with local land and assets owned by the quango, including the Milton Keynes Bowl.
