Council bosses in Scotland have poured cold water on the Scottish National Partry’s (SNP) plans to freeze council tax until 2016.

Council bosses in Scotland have poured cold water on the Scottish National Party's (SNP) plans to freeze council tax until 2016.

SNP leader Alex Salmond announced his party would extend the current freeze for another five years if they win next month's Scottish Parliament elections.
