Police arrest ex-CQC employee over bribery allegations

A former employee of the Care Quality Commission has been arrested following cash allegations.

A former employee of the Care Quality Commission has been arrested following allegations that she offered to take cash in exchange for favourable care home reviews.

The City of London Police confirmed that this morning detectives arrested a 43-year old woman in Northamptonshire on suspicion of bribery and money laundering.
