Political parties unite to oppose health Bill

Shadow health secretary, John Healey, has promised support for all-party opposition to the Health and Social Care Bill.

Shadow health secretary, John Healey, has promised support for all-party opposition to the Health and Social Care Bill, when the legislation moves to the House of Lords.

His comments came ahead of health secretary Andrew Lansley's announcement this week that the legislation, which is now at report stage in the House of Commons, would be ‘paused' to allow greater consultation.
