Every poll matters

The May polls across the UK may feel like a much more manageable and normal affair than the 2021 polls bonanza, but they are still important, says Peter Stanyon.

This time two years ago, returning officers and election teams were dealing with scheduled elections being cancelled at the eleventh hour.

They turned attention to their communities' needs as the UK entered lockdown.
