A new report warns, by not addressing mental health problems in patients with long-term conditions could cost the NHS heavily.

A failure to address mental health problems in patients with long-term conditions is costing the NHS billions of pounds, a new report has warned.

The report, which was jointly published by the King's Fund and the Centre for Mental Health, said mental health problems often went undetected in patients and also exacerbated physical issues.
