Plans to cut spending on mental health are ‘bang out of order,' Local Government Association chairman, Lord Porter, has blasted.

Speaking to The MJ on World Mental Health Day this week, Lord Porter said: ‘If the Government has managed to find extra money for mental health, it is bang out of order if CCGs [Clinical Commissioning Groups] are using it to prop up their finances elsewhere.'
