The High Court judgement ending the requirement for prayers at council meetings is a victory for everyone who believes in democracy and religious freedom, says Imran Khan.

Communities secretary, Eric Pickles, was spot-on when he said the right to worship was a fundamental and hard-fought British liberty, and that councils 'should have right to say prayers'.
