Plymouth City Council looks set to become the first local authority in the South West to give residents prepaid cards with which to buy care services.

Plymouth City Council looks set to become the first local authority in the South West to give residents prepaid cards with which to buy care services.

The council's cabinet met earlier this week to discuss plans for a personal budget policy, which includes prepaid cards for residents to arrange care services which the local authority will then monitor.
