Business leaders in Cambridgeshire have called for the region's councils to be reorganised into a unitary authority as part of cost-cutting measures.

Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce chief executive John Bridge today called on regional councils to undertake a ‘branch and root reform' of structural arrangements while a multi-million pound savings drive gets underway.
