London's local authorities are building around 240 new primary school classrooms to help overcome a shortfall in places, research by London Councils has revealed.

The lobby group, which represents all 33 of the capital's boroughs, said the 241 new-builds would help councils fulfil their legal obligation to ensure every child has a school place.
