Sandwell MBC's deputy leader has stepped down from chairing a council committee while an investigation into his involvement in an office sale is completed.

Labour councillor Mahboob Hussain, who will continue to serve in his other roles, quit as chair of the council's asset management and land disposal committee after the probe was launched.
