A new unit has been created to improve district council procurement in East Anglia.

The Essex Procurement Hub was launched last week to provide a support service and guidance on contracts and sourcing suppliers for provision of goods and services to member authorities in the area. So far, Uttlesford, Colchester, Castle Point, Epping Forest and Maldon councils have signed up.
