Progress amid the pain

In the aftermath of the Grenfell tower tragedy, progress at Kensington & Chelsea can only go as fast as the grief of the families involved, Dr Barry Quirk tells Heather Jameson

Nearly two years on from the Grenfell Tower tragedy, Kensington and Chelsea RLBC is moving forward, but it can only go at a certain speed.

‘The thing is, there is a wider expectation that progress ought to be fast,' chief executive Barry Quirk says. ‘The progress is inevitably slow because of the pain and grief the families are facing.'
