Public Health England appoints new chief executive designate

Public Health England has appointed a new chief executive designate.

Duncan Selbie has been appointed chief executive designate of Public Health England – the newly-formed expert body on public health to work alongside local government and the NHS.

Mr Selbie is expected to leave his current post as chief executive of Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust in July. The new organisation is due to formally launch in April next year.
