Public health planning 'thrown into uncertainty'

Public health planning is being held up by Whitehall’s failure to announce the funding settlements for individual councils for 2016/17 and 2017/18, the Local Government Association (LGA) has warned today.

Public health planning is being held up by Whitehall's failure to announce the funding settlements for individual councils for 2016/17 and 2017/18, the Local Government Association (LGA) has warned today.

The LGA said council plans on how they will deliver public health services over the next two years had been ‘thrown into uncertainty'.
