Duncan Selbie has been appointed chief executive designate of PHE – the newly-formed expert body on public health.

Duncan Selbie has been appointed chief executive designate of Public Health England (PHE) – the newly-formed expert body on public health which will work alongside local government and the NHS.

Mr Selbie is expected to leave his current post as chief executive of Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust in July, with the new organisation due to formally launch in April next year.
