Two-thirds of people think more money should be spent on social care as MPs call for ‘urgent action' to tackle the funding crisis in the Autumn Statement.

A new poll published today as part of a new report by the Local Government Association (LGA) found 62% of respondents believe adult social services receive a much higher proportion of the combined £129bn health and care budget spent by both councils and Whitehall.
