A lot of organisations tried to jump on the Halloween broomstick this year, but few did it with more spook-tacular savoir faire than East Cambridgeshire DC.

With a sense of timing that bordered on the magical, they asked residents to bring out their (un)dead pumpkins and place them in special recycling bins.
