Mary Portas visited Parliament on 18 October ahead of her eagerly-awaited ‘High Street Review' on behalf of the coalition government.

Retail expert Ms Portas was asked by prime minister David Cameron to review prospects for UK high streets amid growing concern over the moribund state of national and local economies. This week, she gleaned the views of MPs and peers representing key local economies. She will report back later this year.
