Questions raised over academies

The lowest scoring primary schools in the country are set to become academies next year, but concern has been raised over funding.

The lowest 200 scoring primary schools in the country are set to become academies next year, but concern has been raised over funding.

According to the Department for Education (DfE), local authorities with particularly large numbers of struggling primaries will be identified for urgent collaboration with the DfE, which will see a further further 500 primary schools become academies.
