Chief executive of NESTA, calls on schools and hospitals to stop being shy about asking for donations and volunteers.

The chief executive of the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (Nesta) has called on schools and hospitals to stop being shy about asking for donations and volunteers.

Speaking at the Edith Khan Memorial Lecture for the charity CSV last week, Geoff Mulgan, said that while private schools and universities regularly asked for donations from their pupils, state schools and hospitals did not.
