As an avid reader of The MJ, I am acutely aware of the column inches currently being devoted to the local government reorganisation (LGR) and devolution agenda in England.

While the White Paper and all that it brings does not apply to Wales, it nevertheless brought back memories of our own foray into the LGR arena more than 10 years ago.
