Even a rebrand will not stop levelling up

So will the next PM grasp the levelling up agenda and push it forward, asks Heather Jameson. 'Call it what you will, this is what councils do and will continue to do, whoever takes over at No10.'

Is levelling up dead? As the Conservative Party leadership hopefuls battle their way towards No10, it was inevitable that Boris Johnson's flagship policy would be called into question.

But despite the outgoing Prime Minister citing it in almost every speech and creating a Government department and secretary of state for levelling up – or at least rebranding an existing one – is the policy set to stick?
