Third highest recommendations to Prevent come from councils

The third highest number of referrals to the Government’s Prevent programme came from local authorities in 2015/16, new figures have shown.

The third highest number of referrals to the Government's Prevent programme came from local authorities in 2015/16, new figures have shown.

A total of 7,631 people were referred to Prevent because of concerns they were risk of being drawn into terrorism.
