The Government has pledged to work with local government, businesses and other parties to design the new system of business rates, communities secretary Greg Clark has said. 

According to a written ministerial statement laid before parliament this morning, Mr Clark said redistribution between councils would ‘remain important' in an effort to reflect need in different authorities.
