Health experts have called on local government and NHS organisations to 'abandon fiscal territorialism' and move towards a single social care settlement.

In a report published on 21 May, entitled Paying for social care: Beyond Dilnot, the King's Fund warned that government reforms will not solve the growing challenge of how social care is funded in the future.
