Sector leaders are meeting home secretary Theresa May and communities secretary Greg Clark today to thrash out plans to deal with the refugee crisis.

A team from the Local Government Association (LGA) will discuss all aspects of the crisis, which has prompted dozens of councils to offer to support refugees while also calling for financial support.
