Claire Fox says the time is right for local government to lead the charge against its own Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPOs)

A date for the diary – Sunday 7 August 12-2pm, Gillett Square, Hackney, London. It will be an historic affair because I will be speaking at the #ProtestPSPO festival and uncharacteristically heaping plaudits on a council.

I will be congratulating Hackney LBC for withdrawing a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) order banning rough sleeping and loitering after a popular revolt.
