Report in abuse action call

Council children’s services should take a more active approach to combating child sexual abuse (CSA), according to a new report that has found at least 15% of girls and 5% of boys experience some form of sexual abuse before the age of 16.

Those who had lived in a care home were nearly four times as likely to have experienced CSA than those who had not.
