Report: LEP governance should be strengthened

The governance arrangements of local enterprise partnerships (LEPs) should be strengthened to involve more people, a report has said.

The governance arrangements of local enterprise partnerships (LEPs) should be strengthened to involve more people, the Centre for Public Scrutiny (CfPS) has said.

A report by the charity, Growth through Good Governance, said attempts had been made to engage with the public as one-offs in some areas but ‘consistent, ongoing engagement is more difficult to identify'.
