A council-run ballot of residents in west London has signalled an overwhelming opposition to plans for expansion of Heathrow Airport.

A council-run ballot of residents in west London has signalled an overwhelming local opposition to plans for expansion of Heathrow Airport.

According to the poll carried out by Richmond-upon-Thames and Hillingdon LBCs, 72% are against a third runway at the airport.
